These are listed in the order in which they should be obtained.

We strongly urge beginners to be accompanied by experienced unit members when purchasing gear.

1. Canteen (bulls eye)
2. Brogans and one pair woolen socks
3. Eyeglasses to your prescription in period frames.  (if needed)
4. Haversack black tarred and mess equipment.
5. White shirt
6. Red Pantaloons and Gaiters
7. Zouave jacket and sash.
8. Fez
9. Vest
10. Belt with SNY buckle, cartridge box (with tins) and cap pouch.  (no brass necessary for the box)
11. Weapon (recommended Enfield 3 band) with bayonet.

       Note at this point first level first person should be ready

12. (Tent if desired)
13. Striped panataloons
14. Red battle shirt
15. Hard sided backpack

Note at this point the confederate uniform is complete.
